Mick Owen
Mick has spent over two decades working at a senior level in sport and leisure management. As a business manager and leisure consultant, he has worked with national organisations across the sector, building businesses and brands as he went. In his role as an inspirational tutor and coach Mick has helped individuals and organisations develop skills and improve performance both on the sports field and in the board room. He has been a regular contributor to publications across the sport and leisure sector as a columnist and feature writer for many years. When not fulfilling his duties as managing editor of The Leisure Review Mick turns out for Glossop RFC’s second XV and hides in the scrum.
Jonathan Ives
Jonathan Ives is a writer, journalist and editor with over fifteen years’ experience of all aspects of publishing and corporate communications. As an editor he led the development of some of the leisure industry’s leading magazine titles and as a communications consultant he has worked with clients across a variety of business sectors to develop and implement communications strategies, public relations initiatives and publishing projects in all formats. In addition to his role as editor of The Leisure Review Jonathan is a regular contributor to a variety of publications as a journalist and cultural commentator. In off duty moments he can be usually be found on a bike adding small climbs to a short palmares.
Stephen Gray
Stephen has over twenty five years’ experience of graphic design and production management. His career includes roles as senior designer, production manager and art director for a variety of commercial organisations both in the UK and abroad. Despite being an advertising agency veteran, Stephen’s eye for a clean modern line is unmatched and he is able to include some of the world’s biggest brands within his portfolio. Although a specialist in publication for print, Stephen is a highly regarded artist, exhibiting his work across the country. In between collecting prizes for his painting and photography he can be found worrying about Brighton and Hove Albion’s home form.
