What is PPR?
PPR describes a professional public relations service provided on a task-by-task basis with fees charged at a highly affordable rate only for the tasks undertaken on your behalf.
PPR is a service provided to clients who would prefer to spend their resources on something other than PR.
PPR is a service provided by a company that is sceptical of the PR process but fully understands the necessity for, and benefits of, effective communications.
Why would I need PPR?
All organisations, whatever their size or function, have people they need to reach or influence. Whether these people are customers, members, funding partners, stakeholders or editors, the ability to get the right information to the right people at the right time is a valuable asset.
Resources, whether they be skills, time or funds, are invariably under pressure. Spending money on public relations services can often seem to be an unnecessary expense.
PPR provided by TLR Communications recognises that all organisations need to communicate, that the size of the organisation should not dictate the quality of its output and that communications need not be expensive. We only charge you for the work that we do and we only do what you want done.. We won’t charge you a “retainer” for the privilege of employing us. We won’t charge you for tea breaks, abstract conceptualising or suites of offices. And we won’t charge you principal consultants’ rates for work done by junior staff.
How does PPR work?
At TLR Communications we believe that the art of communication is simple:
a) you identify what you want to say
b) you identify to whom you want to say it
c) you say it in the most effective way possible.
If you have already worked out what (a) and (b) mean to you we will carry out (c) quickly, effectively and with a minimum of fuss. If you are less sure of the scale of the task in hand we can help you with (a), challenge you to be clear about (b) and then save you time and money by doing (c).

TLR Communications is a small communications agency with a track record of integrity, ingenuity and enthusiasm. Its principals are highly experienced communicators who have worked in a wide range of fields, including journalism, publishing, coaching and corporate communications. TLR Communications has a lengthy client list of organisations in the public, private and voluntary sectors, all of whom have had occasion to rely upon TLR Comms to get their message across.
